Played with my watercolor pencils

I find it very exciting when I'm working with watercolor paint, you do not know how the colors are going to flow into each other. I really want to learn painting with watercolor. On the internet I have searched a lot of information about painting with watercolor . And it will take a while before i mastered the techniques of watercolor painting . This water lily is too dark. You can not recognize that I have made this lily with watercolor pencils. Who knows what I do (wrong) . Suggestions and comments are welcome.

Painting flowers with the veins in the petals I find difficult. So I went to the Internet to find a method that will make it easier. And now I found a video on youtube how you can paint flowers with beautiful petals flower veins.
